Abstract EN
Tardive dystonia has recently been emphasised in the literature as a complication of the long term use of antipsychotic medications.
Compared with the long and better known tardive dyskinesia, it is more disabling and more difficult to manage.
The authors report the development of tardive dystonia in a young Saudi male with a Schizophrenic Disorder which has been Adequately Documented and followed up.
An early sign of "Repetitive forced jaw opening" is reported.
