A flavone : 3- aceto -7,4`-dihydroxy-3`, 5`- diethoxy-5-Orhamnoglucosylflavone was isolated from the barks of the Sudanese material of Kigelia africana.
Its structure was deduced on the basis of its IR, UV, 1HNMR and mass spectra.
