Size of the problem of extra pyramidal side effects of narcoleptics among chronic psychiatric inpatients has never been assessed in Jordan.
A cross sectional survey for this purpose was conducted by the author in 1986.
This survey included almost all chronic psychiatric patients in two major hospitals.

La dimension du problème des effets pyramidaux secondaires â usage des neuroleptiques chez les malades psychiatriques hospitalises de façon chronique n’a jamais été évaluéé en Jordanie.
Dans ce but, une enquête d’une tranche de la population a été menée par l’auteur en 1986.
ette enquête comprenait la quasi-totalité des malades psychiatriques hospitalisés de façon chronique dans deux grands hôpitaux.
