في المراقب الغيمي السابق النافذة الزمنية (الفترة الزمنية الذي يتقبل فيها المراقب خلايا الطور الغير متزامن) لا تتزامن مع نشاط المنبع.
في المراقب المتطور النوافذ الزمنية غير متعاقبة و لكن تبدأ عند وصول أول خلية.
المراقب المتطور يحسن الأداء من حيث الانتقائية و يخفف الاختناق عبر المسار الخاص بالخلايا.
هذا التحسين له أهميه كبرى في الشبكات متعددة القنوات.
Abstract EN
A Modified Fuzzy police for Asynchronous Transfer Mode is introduced.
In a preceding fuzzy police model the time window (time interval where ATM cells are accepted in the police) is not synchronized with the source activity.
In the proposed one, the time windows are not consecutive but are triggered by the first arriving cell.
The modified policed gives good improvement to the selectivity, and minimizes the congestion over the path.
This improvement can be significant for multiple channels.
