الهدف : تحليل و تقييم تدبير حالات الحوادث المرورية المستلمة من قبل الطوارئ من ناحية الوقت العلاج، و النتيجة و التدابير الطبية.
مدة و مكان الدراسة: استمرت هذه الدراسة ثمانية أشهر من (1-1–30 / 8 / 1423 هـ) الموافق (155 / مارس / 6 نوفمبر 2002) خارج موسمي الحج و العمرة في قسم الطوارئ مستشفى النور التخصصي بمكة المكرمة.
المواد و المسائل : سجلت البيانات و المعلومات لحالات متتابعة حتى رقم (100) من ممن شخصي كمصابي الحوادث المرورية و التي تم تنويمها في المستشفى خلال فترة ثمانية أشهر (1 محرم 30–شعبان 1423 هـ) لقد تم تدقيقها من قسم السجلات الطبية خاصة ما يتعلق وقف التشخيص الترميز الدولي للأمراض (العاشر) المعلومات التي جمعت تم تحليلها و تسجيل النتائج.
العدد الإجمالي لحالات الحوادث المرورية التي تنويمها و تم عمل خروج لها خلال هذه الفترة تم جمعة من قسم الطوارئ و الحوادث لمقارنة البيانات مع السجلات الطبية.
النتائج: كانت نتيجة عدد 100- حادث مروري (81 %) ذكور، و نسبة السعوديين منهم (62 %).
كان صحة معظمهم جيدة حيث تحسن (86 %) بينما توفي (7 %).
نوم ثلثهم (35 %) في جناح العظام.
كما مكث أكثر من نصفهم (54 %) فترة تنويم بالقسم (1-3) أيام، بينما استغرق مكوث معظمهم (36 %) بالطوارئ أقل من 6 ساعات.
الاستنتاج : استنتج أنه خلال هذه الفترة، غير الفصلية، و التي يكون فيها قسم الطوارئ والحوادث غير مكتظ من العام تم تسجيل (684) حالات حوادث المرورية (86) (حالة / شهريا) ثم إحضارها إلى مستشفى النور التخصصي و هو رقم مهم يوجه الاحتياجات و الترتيبات اللازمة لتغطية تلك الحالات الحرجة على مدار العام.
Abstract EN
Objective : To analyze and evaluate the management of RTA subjects received by Emergency room (ER) in relation to time, treatment and outcome.
Duration and place of study : This descriptive study was conducted over a period of 8 months i.

March 15, 2002–November 6, 2002 at Al-Noor Specialist Hospital, Holy Makkah, KSA.
Material & methods : Total subjects labeled as RTA by Accident & Emergency department staff and admitted were 684 for this non-seasonal period i.

March 15, 2002–November 6, 2002.
Those who were coded as RTA according to ICD-10 by Medical Record Department (MRD) were 100.
Data of all RTAs (n = 100) collected was analyzed and results elaborated.
Results : The results of 100 RTAs show that there were 81 males and 62 were Saudis.
The outcome of the patients was 86 percent got improved and only 7 patients died.
Most of the patients 35 were referred to orthopedic ward, 54percent of cases stayed for 1-3 days in wards.
In ER, majority (36 %) stayed up to 6 hours, and 4 percent stayed more than 6 hours.
Conclusion : During this non-seasonal period the ER department is not extremely busy.
There were 684 cases of RTAs (86 RTAs per month) brought to ER at Al-Noor which indicates that serious cases are received all year round and arrangements should be made to cover such services.
