Abstract EN

Thise study include the chemical and biological analysis of sixteen partially treated water stations spread in throughput the city of Hodeidah, the capital of the Western region of Yemen.

The measurement of water quality electrical conductivity (EC),Total dissolved solids (TDS) ,pH, alkalinity, total hardness (TH) , NO3-, SO42-, Ca2+, Mg2+ , Na+, K+ and Cl- were investigated.

The results indicate that, TDS of Alahlia ,Almanahel, Alsalam and Taybba are much less than the permissible limits by WHO taken partially treated water stations.

Whereas the results of the analysis of biological samples from all stations concerned are found to be within the limits permitted.
