تم جمع و تصنيف واحد و ثلاثين نوعا من ذبابة الأعشاب Chloropidae ثلاثون نوعا منها تسجل لأول مرة جنوب غرب المملكة العربية السعودية و قد تم إدراجها مع بعض المعلومات البيولوجية و توزيعها الجغرافي في العالم.
بالإضافة إلى نوعين آخرين لم تكن هناك عينات مناسبة و كافية لتصنيفها إلى مستوى النوع.
Abstract EN
Thirty one species of Chloropidae are identified and recorded from southwest Saudi Arabia of which thirty species are recorded for the first time.
Biological information, together with world-wide geographical distribution and taxonomic remarks are included.
A further two species which could not be identified safely to species level because of inadequate material for taxonomic treatment.
