الملخص : في هذا الدراسة تم متابعة نمو و تكوين الدورات اللاتزواجية في Eimeria manga التي تصيب الأرنب المنزلي في المملكة العربية السعودية لأول مرة بالمجهرين الضوئي و الإلكتروني بعد العدوى التجريبي المعملية.
1- سجلت الدراسة خمسة أجيال لا جنسية متتالية قبل بداية تكوين الأطوار الجنسية.
2-في جميع الدورات اللاجنسية يتكون نوعان من الشيزونتات و التي تفقد جميع مميزات معقدات القمة عند التحول إلى الشيزونت.
I- شيزونتات صغيرة (a) و تنتج عددا قليلا من الميروزوتيات كبيرة الحجم نسبيا.
II-شيزونتات كبيرة (b) و تنتج عددا كبيرة من الميروزوتيتات صغيرة الحجم.
1-تتكون الميروزوتيتات في جميع الدورات عن طريق التفلج الخارجي Ectomerogony على السطح الخارجي للشيزونت.
2-الميروزوتيات الناتجة من الأجيال اللاتزاوجية الخمسة لها نفس التركيب الدقيق المتشابه و هو نفسه التركيب الدقيق المميز لمعقدات القمة.
Abstract EN
Schizogonic stages of asexual developmental cycles of Eimeria magna experimentally infecting the domestic rabbit, Oryctolagus cuniculus in Saudi Arabia, were described and diagnosed by light and electron microscopy.
Five asexual cycles or generations were observed mainly in the columnar epithelial cells of the small intestinal villi.
Two types of mature schizonts in the five generations were described ; schizonts type-a (microschizonts) producing small number of large macromerozoites and schizonts type-b (macroschizonts) giving rise to large number of small micromerozoites.
Meerozoites of the five generations were formed by ectomerogony.
The ultrastructural characteristic features of the merozoites of the five generations are all similar and have all the typical characteristics of apicomplexa.
