تم اكتشاف نوع جديد في هذا البحث من الفصيلة الزنجبيلية من بنغلادش و أعطي الأسم العلمي التالي : Boesenbergia islamii Yusuf & Rahman. ينمو هذا النوع الجديد في أراضي الغابات الرطبة الشبه ظليلة في محمية الحياة البرية في بشوناتي بمدينة تشا كونق ببنغلادش، كما يتضمن هذا البحث وصفا لهذا النوع و مفتاح تحليلي لأنواع هذا الجنس و التي حصرت بنوعين كما يتضمن رسم إيضاحي لهذا النوع الجديد.
Abstract EN
The new species Boesenbergia islalllii Yusuf and Rahman (Zingiberaceae) sp.
nov., growing in the moist forest floor in partial shades of Chianti Wild Life Sanctuary, Chittagong, Bangladesh, is described and illustrated.
A key to the Bangladesh species of Boesenbergia is presented.
