Abstract AR
Abstract EN
Analysis of mineral content (sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, cupper, iron, manganese) of different organs at four stages of development of Remix vestiaries was carried out during three seasons: autumn, winter and spring in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The level of the studied minerals (Na, KCa, Mg, Cu, Fe and Mn) in different organs at different stages of development increased significantly with age to a maximum level during the flowering stage and then decreased with further development during the fruiting stage in the three studied seasons.
Leaves showed the highest mineral levels followed by stems and then roots.
Seedlings and fruits showed higher mineral levels as compared to seeds and flowers respectively.
The level of the studied major captions in different plant organs was in the order of K > Ca > Na > Mg whereas, microelements levels were in the order of Fe> Mn > Cu in all the studied seasons.
Highest mineral levels were observed during spring followed by autumn and then winter.
