Abstract EN

Liver, Kidney and testis of albino mice treated intragastrically with daily therapeutic doses of Panadol (40 and 80 mg/kg body weight) for 30 days were investigated Light microscopic examination showed obvious histological alterations in liver and slight changes in the testis.

The alterations were more pronounced in the higher dose.

In Panadoltreated mice, cytoplasmic vaculolation and dense particles in the Liver cells, shrinkage of the seminiferous tubules and disturbance of the regular arrangement of the spermatogenic cells in the testis were observed.

i.e the spermatogenic cells were not arranged in a contact regular layer as in the case of the normal.

No obvious histological changes of the treated Kidney were observed, by the light microscope
