تم أخذ 29 عينة من مرضى يعانون من التهاب الاحليل، كما تم التحري عن البكتريا المسببة لهذا الالتهاب و وجد أن (18) عينة كانوا مصابين ببكتريا Neisseria gonorrhoeae، و (8) عينات كانت تعود لبكتريا Chlamydia trachomatis و عينتين تعود لـ Candida albicans و عينة واحد تعود لبكتريا Corynebacterium urealyticum.
و من ثم درس تأثير بعض المضادات الحياتية على عزلات بكتريا Neisseriae gonorrhoeae، و قد أظهرت النتائج أن جميع العزلات كانت حساسة لــ Azithromycin 100 % و بدرجة أقل لكل من Cefixin 88.9 % و Cefotaxi 72.3 % و Amikacin 55.6 %.
في حين كانت اغلب العزلات مقاومة للـ Pencillin G 72.2 % و Piperacillin 66.6 %.
كما وجد إن التهاب الاحليل له علاقة بالعمر حيث بينت النتائج أن نسبة الإصابة تزداد في الأعمار التي تتراوح ما بين (92-20) سنة مقارنة بالأعمار الأقل من 20 سنة أو أكثر من 30 سنة.
Abstract EN
In this study 29 samples were obtained from patients suffering from urethritis.
Detect of microorganisms that causing urethritis it was found that (18) samples were positive for Neisseria gonorrhea and (8) samples for Chlamydia trachomatis and (2) samples for candida Albans.
(1) Sample for Corynebacterium urealyticum. The effect of some antibiotics was also investigated on all Neisseria isolates and the results show that all isolates were sensitive to Azithromycin, but lesser to cefotaxin 72.3%, while most strains were resistance to penicillin G72.2% and to piperacilin 66.6%.
Also this study was concerned the age group in which urethritis was prevalent and the results showed that infection with urethritis increased with age group 20-29 in contrast with other age groups.
