Abstract EN

This study observes the night phenomenon as a metaphorical topic it recurred in Badr Shaker Al Sayyab's poetry, It offered a disclosure of the cognitive changes that the metaphorical operation passed by of the night and the types of the relations that rule these changes, In the cognitive changes, It found that Al Sayyab's experience invested the realization levels: first- the sensory level that recurred about one hundred and twenty-seven repeatedly And the sensory borrowing has produced by its kinds : the optic borrowing, the audio, the tactile, the taste, and the smelling.

Second: the mental level that it recurred which brings close from eighteen repeatedly the one, that produced the mental borrowing .

As for in the types of the transformational relations, has found that Al Sayyab's experience has observed three changes: it is the diagnostic change, And the symmetrical change, and the incarnating change, and it spoke about the technology of these changes in Al Sayyab's experiment from one side and the contexts that it formed on the other hand .
