Abstract EN

This study investigates the importance of linguistic terminology, especially for German orientalists who wish to make use of Arabic linguistics in order to learn Arabic , to feel its magnificence, literature, heritage, past and present as well as to teach it to non-speakers of Arabic enable them to work in the various fields such as orientation , Christianization, politics, economics, even in the administration of colonization affairs.

Undoubtedly; German orientalists exerted great efforts to well express the Arabic terms in German, From this perspective; this study will shed the light on the methods and means they used to achieve this goal .Therefore; Arabic in its pursuit to arabise foreign terms should make use of the German experience in what is called Germanzation of the Arabic terms.

The above mentioned facts make us wonder how oriantalists translated Arabic terms into their language, what hardships they encountered, how Arabic terms affected German terminological concepts and what methods they used to overcome these obstacles.
