Abstract EN

This research studies the interferences of point of view and narrative mode at both levels place and time in the novel “Streets’ olives” by the novelist Ibrahim Naserailah.

The research investigates the view the characters towards the place starting from the title and how they retrieve the chronological and spatial ambience as weli as the social dimensions through the voices of the narrator and characters.

The paper presents the view of the narrator and characters of describing the place (lopography) and characters (prosography) and how it relates to semantic part in the novel.

The paper discusses the symbolism of the characters by embodying the reality.

Finally, the current research investigates the type of the narrator and its presence and levels in the novel.

It also discusses the motional narrative styles which are based on the existing of antonyms in the narration.
