Motivation is the activation of goal-oriented behavior and it can be intrinsic or extrinsic.

According to various theories, motivation may be rooted in the basic need to minimize physical pain and maximize pleasure.

This research designed to focus the light on motivation and its impact on employees performance, noting that keeping an employee working at full potential is the ultimate goal of employee motivation.

Motivated employees in tourism sector are more quality oriented and more productive.

The research depended on employee questionnaire.

The findings illustrated that when leaders in this sector are able to motivate a team member and help them to feel involved, positive results will be gained.
