A Proposed Program for Developing the Culture of Tourism for Alexandria University Students Tourism has changed from being just a human phenomenon to a social right and a necessity of life aiming at culture, enjoyment and relaxation.

The political and social development and the ease of communication resulted in the promotion of the tourism flow to be an industry or a group of integrated industries, as well as, an impetus for the economic development and a necessary base of the national revenue of many developed and developing countries.

In addition, tourism is a means of intellectual communication and exchange of cultures, norms and traditions among people.

Therefore, the countries are concerned with directing their efforts towards enhancing the tourism culture among the members of their society in order to improve the tourism field together with the other fields.

This can be done through developing their awareness of tourism as an important economic, social and cultural industry for the country.

Therefore, the researcher believes that it is important to evaluate the level of tourism culture of Alexandria University students through developing a test for that and then providing an effective program incorporating the dimensions of tourism culture in order to improve that level.
