تعتبر الساحة البيئية أكثر الأنماط السياحية نموا و انتشارا على المستوى العالم، و التي تلعب دورا رئيسيا في الإدارة العلمية السليمة للموارد، و الحفاظ على البيئة، و تقليل الآثار السلبية للسباحة بمفهومها التقليدي.
بالرغم من ذلك، فان المقررات الدراسية التي تتناول الجوانب المختلفة للسباحة البيئية تعتبر ظاهرة حديثة إلى حد كبير في مجال التعليم السياحي، و ذلك على الرغم من أهميتها في تنمية العديد من المهارات الهامة لدى الخريج، و التي يمكن أن تلعب دورا حيويا في إدارة المقاط السياحة البيئية، و التي من أمثلتها مهارات ذهنية، لغوية، إدارية.......الخ.
يتناول البحث المقررات الدراسية المتعلقة بالسياحة البيئية بكلية السياحة و الفنادق جامعة حلوان، و التي تعتبر الكلية الأم في مجال التخحسصن بمنطقة الشرق الأوسط.
و يهدفا البحث إلى تقييم مستوى المقررات الدراسية المعفية بالسياحة البيئية في الكلية مقارنة بالاتجاهات الدولية في مجال السياحة البيئية و كذلك متطلبات السياحة البيئية في مصر.
و قد تم الاعتماد بصورة رئيسية على احدى الجامعات الهامة في مجال السياحة البيئية (Charles Sturt University (CST بأستراليا و التي تعتبر الدولة الرائدة في مجال التعليم الساحي البيئي على مستوى العالم.
و كذلك اعتمدت الدراسة في أحد جوانبها على إجراء مقابلات شخصية مع ممثلي القطاعين الحكومي و الخاص في مصر للتعرف على احتياجاتهم فيما يختص بالمهارات الواجب توافرها في خريج الكلية و التي تؤهله للعمل بكفاءة في مجال السياحة البيئية في مصر، فضلا عن توزيع استمارات استقصاء على عدد من خريجي الكلية للتعرف على آرائهم فيما يتعلق بفعلية المقررات الدراسية بالكلية.
Abstract EN
Ecotourism education is still a relatively new phenomenon.
The current research discusses the ecotourism courses developed at Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management (FTH), Helena University, Cairo, Egypt, which is one of the first Faculties (in the Middle East) concerned with tourism and hospitality education.
The research examines the extent to which formal education and training ecotourism courses at FTH cope with the international trends in this field and the requirements of ecotourism field in Egypt.
Particular reference is made to Charles Strut University in Australia, a pioneering educational body in terms of ecotourism.
In Depth interviews were conducted with representatives of both public and private tourism sectors in Egypt to identify their requirements of the faculty's graduates to work efficiently in ecotourism field.
Questionnaire forms were distributed on a sample of the faculty's graduates to survey the appropriateness of ecotourism education in Egypt.
