This research is Interested in study of the most prominent features of Al-Najaf environment that preceded the rise of the modern literature, first , it is a scientific environment that deals with the doctrinal study, religion science and others, as it was for the clergy intellectual and scientific command center.

On the economic side this environment was poor, hardly fill the breath of lives, which has no places of amusement or recreation, therefore its people did not find a means of entertainment and expression of the psychological needs of the many in a closed society, which made this city ready to receive literary Renaissance due to the large movement that has characterized the terms of the large number of writers and to what they produced of poetry, and the many different books that kept this poetry and the names of poets and their curricula.
