أثناء فحص عدد 50 قوقع من نوع بيومفالاريا الكساندرينا من بحيرة تورغا شرق مدينة مصراتة في ليبا و التي تعتبر مياه عذبة تنبع من عين أرضية طبيعية و تلك المنطقة تنتشر بها أمراض اللشمانيا و البلهارسيا المعوية وجد عدد 25 قوقع مصاب بسركاريا الفاشيولا و قد وجدت الريديا و السركاريا بكثافة في القواقع المصابة و هذه أول مرة يسجل فيها هذا النوع من القواقع من تلك المنقطة المصابة بالفاشيولا.
Abstract EN
Out of 50 Biomphalaria alexandrine snails 25 (50 %) were found infected with fascicle spp.
This snail species is the suitable intermediate host of Schist soma mansion.
It is worthy to mention that this is the first record of fascicle in Libya which represent a new locality record.
