Abstract EN

This study tackles the impact of absence of stock market in Yemen on the Yemeni banking sector in the field of finance and loans through the effect on the loans granting and finance cost, loans conditions and also their direction to the different economic sector.

To measure that impact, a questionnaire has been prepared to cover those aforementioned fields and distribute it to the study sample which represented in the different administrative levels related to finance and lending in the Yemeni banking sector.

The statistical analysis has been conducted for the sample's answers and hypotheses tests.

the most important results that have been concluded are that the establishing of stock market in Yemen will have a major impact in reducing finance costs in the banks and improving its conditions.

The most important recommendations were that the necessity of taking serious steps for fulfilling the required procedures to establish stock market in Yemen.
