Abstract EN

The topic of “A woman” in Shihab Addeen Al-Tala’fori’s veres can be represented sometimes by adventure and desire and sometimes by imagination and experimentation.

This topic “A woman” can break through mind and does not relate to logic and does not come from factual objective values related to habits and customes since it is a poetic aesthetic view which forms linguistic images from a body.

The topic “A woman” in Al-Talafri’s verse transfers or moves from a suppressed fact into a hoped symbol, and comes from an inherited symbol into actuality in happening by the poetic memory, hence it is a symbol in the linguistic fact and a fact in the poets imagination who formulates the idea by form according to his sight.

If it is not the symbol at the end and for the other, it is for the poet himself and from himself, where the reader becomes aware face to face “A woman” through private and personal view, by which the poet moves from observation into imagination and from dream into experimentation when he found in “A woman” “Reality and Typical Example” life in existence taking from the verse a means to express his emotions and ideas, and his values about a female body which is considered an aesthetic example and a place of love and entertainment in a body symbol.
