Abstract EN

Tuiin-armature rotaru-linear PM motor is presented.

A stator posses tuio armatures generating tuio rotating magnetic ffields, uihereas the rotor consists oj tuuo parts coupled stijjlij.

Each part interacting uiith one oj the armatures has permanent magnets uihich are skeuied in opposite directions.

Bu changing a direction oj rotation oj magnetic jield oj each armature the resultant Jorce produced bu the motor can be either rotary, linear, or rotary-linear.

Torque and axial jjorce acting on the rotor are determined using 3-D Finite Element Method (FEM).

influence oj PM skeui angle on torque and the linear Jorce exerting on the rotor are innestigated.

Cogging torque reduction is discussed too.
