تم تحضير المركبات بطريقة الدمج الصلب و فحصها بحيود الأشعة السينية و وسائل مغناطيسية و طيفية.
وجد أن هناك بعض الشوائب ترافق تحضير المركب الأصلي.
إن السلوك المغناطيسي للمركبات قد يكون ناتجا من طور شائب مغناطيسي.
أظهرت الدراسات الطيفية المميز للاهتزازات الامتدادية.
Abstract EN
The multiferroic compounds Bio.9Smo.o5Y0.o5Fe03 and Bio.9Gdo.o5Yo.o5Fe03 were prepared by the conventional ceramic method and were characterized by X-ray diffraction, vibrating sample magnetometry, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.
The compounds were found to have the rhombohedral perovskite-like structure, accompanied by the existence of small amounts of BizFe^ and Bi24Fe2039 impurity phases.
The soft ferromagnetic behavior observed in these compounds is thought to arise from a minor impurity magnetic phase.
The Fourier transform infrared spectra revealed the mode characteristic of Fe-O stretching vibrations.
