Abstract AR
Int.
Abstract EN
The variation of the remanant magnetization (M) with time (t) has been measured for frozen Co- ferrofluid.
The measurements cover two samples with the same packing fraction under two conditions: the first was frozen in zero magnetic field (ZFC), and the other was frozen in a IT magnetic field (1TFC).
The coefficient of magnetic viscosity (S) was deduced from the slope of M versus ln(t) curve.
The variations of S with temperature are presented for both samples.
Higher values of S were observed for the 1TFC sample than the ZFC sample at all temperatures under consideration.
Maxima are also observed in the S values at 60K and 90K for the ZFC and the 1TFC samples respectively.
The results clearly indicate that texturing the system has increased the values of S and shifts its maximum towards higher temperature.
