صممت الدراسة إلى تقييم تأثير العمر و الجنس لمرضى السكري على المتغيرات الكيموحيوية لمصلل دم المرضى.
شملت هذه الدراسة (165) من مرضى داء السكري و تم تقسيمهم إلى مجموعتين اعتمادا على العمر و الجنس (ذكور 87) و بنسبة (52.27) و إناث (78) و بنسبة (47.72 %) حيث تم جمع العينات من مستشفى الحسين التعليمي في مدينة الناصرية لغرض إجراء الفحوصات اللازمة.
تم الحصول على عينة الدم و تقييم المتغيرات و التي شملت على فحوصات الشحوم (الكولوسترول الكلي، البروتينات الدهنية عالية الكثافة، و الشحوم الثلاثية) وظائف الكلي و التي شملت (نسبة اليوريا في الدم، نسبة الكرياتينين في الدم) لجميع المرضى و إجراء مقارنة بين المجاميع الثلاثة.
أثبتت نتائج الدراسة الحالية أن الكلوسترول الكلي، البروتينات الدهنية واطئة الكثافة جدا، و الشحوم الثلاثية أعطت ارتفاعا معنويا عاليا في الذكور مقارنة بالإناث.
فضلا عن ذلك أن الكلوسترول الكلي لم يعطي أي فرق معنوي ملحوظ، بينما الشحوم الثلاثية أعطت ارتاعا معنويا عاليا (30-39 سنة) و (40-49 سنة) مقارنة بمجموعة الأخرى (20-29 سنة)، علما عدم وجود فرق معني بين الحالتين.
نستنتج من خلال نتائج هذه الدراسة بأن العمر و الجنس يؤثر بشكل كبير على متغيرات تحليل الدم و على كلا الجنسين.
Abstract EN
The present study was designed to evaluate the effect of age and sex in diabetic patients on serum blood biochemical parameters.
In this study, a total number of 165 diabetic patients from patients visiting Al-Hussein teaching hospital in Al-Nassiriya city were involved and according to age and sex were classified into 87 male vs.
78 female ; precent (52,72%) male and precent (47,27%) female respectively.
From each patient, serum blood samples were collected for estimate various blood parameters.
The results of the current study demonstrated that cholesterol, triglycerides, and VLDL were significantly higher in males (P<0.05) as compared to female patients.
Regarding the total serum cholesterol there was no significant (P>0.05) difference, while serum triglyceride was significantly higher in age group of (30-39) year and (40-49) year (P<0.001) compared to group (20-29) year, but the difference was statistically not significant (P>0.05).
It was concluded that the age and sex in both diabetic men and women affect directly on biochemical blood parameters.
