تم في هذا البحث و بنجاح تحضير مادة الكاربون المنشط من مدة محلية عراقية متوفرة و هي مادة سيقان الذرة العراقية.
غذ استخدمت في عملية التنشيط الكيميائية مادة كلوريد الزنك Zncl2 و بتراكيز مختلفة (20 %, 40 %, 60 %) و بمدة زمنية مقدارها (72) ساعة لكل تركيز.
أجريت بعد ذلك عملية الكربنة بدرجة حرارة (450) درجة مئوية و بزمن (2) ساعة.
ثم قيست الامتصاصية لمحاليل مادة المثيلين الزرقاء و بتراكيز مختلفة (80-600 pm) قبل و بعد عملية الأمتزاز.
استخدمت معادلة لانكمير لحساب كمية الأمتزاز الأعظم أيضا.
ثم أجري قياس عدد من الخواص المهمة الأخرى للفحم المنشط مثل الــ Ph و محتوى الرماد و محتوى الرطوبة.
أخيرا.
وجد أن الفحم المنشط المحضر في هذا البحث و من خلال الفحوصات يمتلك خصائص مقاربة للفحم القياسي الموجود صناعيا مما يمكن استخدمه في الصناعة لتوفر المادة الأولية محليا (سيقان الذرة) في قطرنا الحبيب.
English Abstract
In this paper, Activated Carbon was successfully prepared from local Iraqi material namely corns stalks.
Zinc chloride ZnC12 was used as activating agent with different concentrations (20%, 40%, 60%) for 72 hours, followed by carbonization at 450 C f (2) hour.
UV-Spectrophotometer used for measuring absorbance of methylene blue solutions before and after adsorption, the maximum amount adsorbed for methylene blue material of the prepared activated Carbon was studied by Langmuir adsorption isotherm.
Other characteristics of the resulting activated Carbon also discussed such as pH, Moisture Content and ash content.
Finally Activated carbon prepared in this work has good properties compared to the standard samples in such a way it could be used in industrial activities due to the fact that the corn stalks available locally in ours.
