In this paper, recurrence relations for moments and conditional moments of generalized order statistics from doubly truncated class of continuous distributions are obtained.
Doubly truncated inverted Weibull (exponential, Rayleigh as special cases), Burr type X, Burr type XII, logistic, generalized logistic, inverted compound Weibull (compound exponential, compound Rayleigh), inverted Pareto, Gumbel, inverted Gompertz and compound Gompertz, among others, arise as special cases of this class.
Specializations to order statistics and k-record cases have been made.
Results for right truncated, left truncated and non-truncated cases of this class have been obtained.
