تؤلف P.
aeruginosa النسبة الأكبر 67.97 % من مجموع الحصى الكلي.
و لم تظهر 40 حصاة أي نمو جرثومي.

Abstract EN
During 6 months from Jan.
1 2002 to Jull.
1 2002 about 60 episodes of bacteremia were documented at Ibn Al-Baladi hospital, with an incidence of 5.244 cases of bacteremic children / 1000 admissions .90% of the isolates were gram-negative organisms and most common one were Salmonella and Klebsiella.
Incidence was significantly higher in males than females and it was more frequent in children aged less than one year.
Antimicrobial sensitivity tests revealed that isolated bacteria are with multiple drug resistance to commonly used antimicrobial agents.
Salmonella showed high resistance to cephaloxin, co-trimoxazole and amoxicillin.
Also Klebsiella showed resistance to cephaloxin and amoxicillin.
