هذه الدراسة تقوم بحساب التدفق الأمثل للطاقة الكهربائية بطريقة جديدة تحاكي الأسراب الطائرة.

و الغاية هي تقليل مجموع تكلفة الوقود في توليد الطاقة الكهربائية و كذلك التقليل من التلوث البيئي الناجم عن احتراق الوقود لتوليد الطاقة الحرارية مع المحافظة على أداء مقبول لأنظمة الطاقة.

لقد تم إثبات فاعلية طريقة الأسراب الطائرة و تفوقها على الطرق الجينية في حدود ما تمت دراسته.

Abstract EN

This paper reports on a particle swarm optimization (PSO) method for solving the optimal power flow problem (OPF).

The objective is to minimize the total fuel cost of generation and environmental pollution caused by fossil based thermal generating units and also maintain an acceptable system performance in terms of limits on generator real and reactive power outputs, bus voltages, shunt capacitors / reactors and power flow of transmission lines.

The proposed approach has been evaluated on an IEEE 30-bus test system.

The results obtained with the proposed approach are presented and compared favorably with results of genetic algorithm technique.
