The relation between Aram co and Saudi Arabia was clearly known of its being close and private.

Nevertheless; its historical course come across many real confrontations that threaten the existence of the firm (Aram co) in the kingdom of Saudi.

The attempt to come to an agreement with Onassis to found a company for oil tankers was one of the most disputing affairs that confused the relations between them.

It brought to light for the first time the national motives in the personality of the king suoad bin abdul aziz as looking forward to independence , especially in economical field.

This ambition was faced with more reject and deny by Aram co which regarded it as a political step leading to declare nationalization as well as it may lead its presence into nonbeing.

But Aram co's confrontation to such attempt was not forming an obstacle in the way of creating OPEC which contributed to undermine and diminish the control of giant oil companies, of which was Aram co.
