Abstract EN

Paronomasia is a common linguistic phenomenon in Arabic, it is resulted from coalition of linguistic unit with another unit because of their similarity or paralleling or being linked in one element or more which are phonetic or signal wither this coalition was accidental or absolute, coalition that is acceptable by language and acceptable when listening and acceptable by soul and responsive to individual because of domination one to another or neighboring, upon all language levels: phonetics, Grammar or Rhetoric and signs that are generated and have clear influence in addressing the meaning the destination of the producer.

This research will be restricted to study this phenomenon as far phonetics and rhetoric leaving alone studying its grammar to future.

Phonetics Paronomasia is locative phenomenon resulted from influence and affect among the similar sounds that constitute a spell, to be proper to the sounds or close.

A group of phonetic paronomasia enter within this level of paronomasia such as Motional Appending, some assimilation and inclination which are all adopt sound similarity an closure among characters that have sounds, we believe that talking about phonetics paronomasia is new.

We talked about Rhetoric paronomasia as far as the attitude of the ancient and modern writers and we proceed our talking in the topic is merely not repeating more yet it is criticism for what had been written so far without coming across what had said about.

This leads to termology clashing that refer to, and the aspects that include them, thus, our work in that aspect include to that clash and clarifying the reasons that led to, with explaining the marching of the phenomenon in history till reaching the stability of the terms referring to it in Rhetoric.
