Abstract EN

This research tries to understanding the nature of the German- Soviet relations from the beginning of rapprochement of Germany and Soviet Union and its agreement on the division the Balkan region, centeral and eastern Europe into regions of influence in 1939.this research sheds lights on the causes that led to rapprochement between the two parties, after conclusion of the non-aggression pact of 1939.This research mad clear that the German-Soviet relations were very fragile that the diplomatic means could not mange to put an end to the serious crises.

The best solution was to division of influence and domination at expense of interests of the feeble states which its territories were occupied, when the Germans invaded Poland and Czechoslovakia in 1939.Soviet Union colluded with the Germans during this period.

Finally, the same interests which led to rapprochement between Germany and Soviet Union, had roled an important factor to deterioration of relationship between them.
