Abstract EN

The first part of this study deals with the concept of the Theatrical Movement, as well as the conditions necessary for it to evolve in a particular place.

It also relates the concepts of the Theatrical repertoire and Theoretical Season to the Theatrical Movement.

For, it is not possible to establish a Theatrical Movement without a Theatrical Season, which in turn cannot exist without a Theatrical Repertoire.

The second part of the study analyzes the concepts of Theatrical Movement, Theatrical Season and Theatrical Repertoire in light of the theatrical situation in Jordan.

The study sheds light on the past attempts undertaken to establish a Theatrical Season since the sixties of the last century.

By revising the information available, the present paper spots the deficiencies, points of weakness, etc.

of the previous attempts.

The goal has always been to find an optimal solution to the current theatrical condition in the country.
