Abstract EN
Various 30 sulfonamides derivatives of 2-[(2, 6-dichlorophenylamino) -phenyl]-acetic acid (5) have been prepared via two steps.
The antibacterial activity studies for all new derivatives have been performed on both Gram positive S.
aurous, B.
subtitles and Gram negative E.
coli, P.
vulgaris bacteria, when compared with the results obtained from standard drugs penicillin, chloramphenicol, and ampicillin.
The antibacterial obtained results were found to be quite satisfactorily compared with the standard drugs.
The final compounds were characterized by IR, 1H-NMR spectra and elemental analysis.
