Abstract EN

Utilizing the generalized field equations within the concept of geometrizing Mach's Universe, a generalized Lagrangian density is obtained.

It contains both linear and nonlinear terms of the scalar curvature R, with a non-geometrical one and constant coefficients.

It appears that these coefficients underlie a certain physical meaning of the metric derivable from this Lagrangian.

In view of this, the resulting relations, while indicating certain constrains on the Lagrangian structure, on the other hand, they reveal an idea describing the cosmic evolution.
