Abstract EN

Urinary diversion is indicated for the management of the neurogenic bladder.

However, there is a risk for developing pyocystitis in this type of patients.

We present a case of young female who presented with a history of frequent urinary tract infection (UTI) post urinary diversion for neurogenic bladder.

Ever since she underwent simple cystectomy, there have been no further episodes of UTI.
