تم الحصول على مركب الفولجايد 7 و المزدحم فراغيا على هيئة المشابه E فقط، و ذلك عن طريق JL، التثبت من تركيب فولجايد تكاثف شتوب.
عند تشعيع المركب 7 باستخدام الأشعة فوق البنفسجية (nm 366) لا يحدث تحلق إلى المشتق 1, 8--أ-ثنائي هيدرونفثالين 3.
و تم التثبت من تركيب فولجايد 7 بواسطة تحليل الأشعة السينية للبلورات.
Abstract EN
Pure E-isomer overcrowded organometallic folded 1 was obtained by using successive Strobe condensations between ketones and succinate dieter.
Upon irradiation with UV light at (366 nm) it did not cyclize photo chemically to the 1,8a-dihydronaphthalene derivative (1,8a- DHN) 8.
The structure of 7 was confirmed by X-ray crystallographic analysis.
