تم في هذا البحث جمع 96 نبتة من النباتات الطبية العراقية التي تعود إلى 49 عائلة نباتية و تستعمل لمعالجة العديد من الأمراض.
اعتمد البحث على جلب عينات من النباتات من مناطق مختلفة من العراق و جمع المعلومات عنها لاستعمال طبي شعبي من قبل الناس الذين يستعملونها في مناطق وجودها و كذلك اخذ معلومات من اثنين من العطارين الذين أعطوا معلومات حول كيفية استعمالها و طريقة التحضير التي قد تؤدي إلى اكتشاف نواتج أو دواء طبي جديد اعتمادا على الطب الشعبي.
Abstract EN
A list of 96 plants belonging to 43 families, used in Iraqi traditional medicine to treat a variety of disorders, has been compiled.
The survey is based on a field specimen collection and on information gathered following interviews with various people and traditional healers, called Attars.
The plants are listed in alphabetical order, giving the parts used and methods of preparation according to their therapeutic use.
