Abstract EN

This experiment was conducted on the farm of Faculty of Agriculture, Al-Azhar University, Assiut branch to investigate the possibility of using of organic and bio-fertilizers instead of mineral fertilizers and the subsequent effects on vegetative growth, yielding, volatile and crude oils and the secondary metabolites on fennel plants.

The obtained results due to different mineral and organic, as well as, bio-fertilizer indicated the augmentation on vegetative growth, yield, essential oil and crude oil.

The interaction between recommended NPK x bio-fertilizer mixture treatment and the interaction of 40 m3 of organic manure and bio-fertilizer mixture treatment were the most effective on the above parameters.

Keyword: - fennel, organic, bio-fertilizer, yield, flavonoid and saponin.
