This study was conducted to evaluate the micro- leakage of amalgam, bonded amalgam and compomer in vitro by examination of thirty restored bovine teeth.

The microleakage evaluation showed no difference between amalgam and compomer while there was less leakage of bonded amalgam than other restorative materials (depth of dye penetration).
