أجريت هذه الدراسة على عدد 60 عجل جاموسي يتراوح أعمارها بين 9-12 شهر و تنتمي لبعض المزارع الخاصة بمحافظة الشرقية–بغرض محاولة إستخدام التحليل الكهربائي لبروتين مصل الدم كوسيلة تشخيصية لبعض الأمراض.
ثم تقسيم هذه العجول إلى خمسة مجموعات متساوية كلا منها يضم عدد إثنا عشر عجل طبقا للحالة الصحية لكل منهم و ذلك بعد إجراء التشخيص الإكلينيكي و المعملي : المجموعة الأولى : ضابطة، و الثانية : تعاني من إضطرابات معوية تتمثل في إسهال مائي ذو رائحة كريهة مصاحب بمخاط و إرتفاع في درجة الحرارة و ذلك نتيجة الإصابة بالميكروب القولوني، السلمونيلا، السودوموناس أرجينوزا، الكليبسيلا، و الميكروب العنقودي الذهبي.
و الثالثة : تعاني من أعراض تنفسية تتمثل في إفرازات أنفية مخاطية و كحة و صعوبة بالتنفس مصاحب بإرتفاع في درجة الحرارة نتيجة الإصابة بالباستريلا ملتوسيدا هيمولتيكا.
و الرابعة : تعاني من هزال و فقدان للشهية و إسهال و لون الأغشية المخاطبة باهت بدون إرتفاع في درجة الحرارة و ذلك نتيجة الإصابة بالطفيليات الداخلية (طفيل الترايكوسترونجيليس و ديدان الإسكارس "تكسوكارا فيتلورم").
و الكجموعة الخامسة و الأخيرة تعاني من الإصابة بطفيل الجرب السوروبتي المتمثلة في فقد الشعر و الحكة الزائدة و زيادة سمك الجلد مع تغطيته بالقشور.
تم أخذ عينات دم من هذه العجول و تم فصل السيرملقياس مستوى البروتين الكلي و إجراء التحليل الكهربائي لبروتين مصل الدم باستخدام طريقة البولي اكلاراميدا جيل–و تم حساب القيمة النسبية و المطلقة لمكونات بروتين مصل الدم و كذلك حساب نسبة الألبيومين / الجلوبيولين في المجموعات الخمسة.
و تم إجراء المقارنة بين هذه النسب.
من نتائج هذه الدراسة يتبين أن هناك فروق معنوية و غير معنوية في قيم البروتين الكلي و مكونات بروتين مصل الدم بين المجموعات الأربعة المختلفة و المجموعة الضابطة و ذلك طبقا للمسببات المرضية لكل مجموعة.
نستخلص من هذه الدراسة أن طريقة الفصل الكهربائي لبروتين مصل الدم قد تكون وسيلة مساعدة و مفيدة لتشخيص بعض الأمراض في مجال طب الحيوان.
Abstract EN
This study was carried out on 60 buffaloes calves of 9-12 months of age, belonged to some private farms in Sharkia governorate, as a trial for the use of serum protein electrophoresis as a diagnostic tool for some diseases.
The calves were divided into five equal groups, according to their sufferings, and after clinical & laboratory findings.
The first group was clinically healthy and have normal laboratory findings and served as control group.
The second group suffered from watery diarrhea with foul smelling, fever and different degrees of dehydration.
Third group suffered from dyspnea, mucopurulent nasal discharges, coughing, depression, abnormal respiratory sounds, and fever.
Fourth group suffered from internal parasites infestation, showing profuse diarrhea with clumps of mucous, loss of appetite and weight, without rise of temperature.
The fifth group, suffered from mange infestation, showing sever itching, loss of weight, thickness of skin which covered with scabs.
The blood samples were collected from all calves, for determination the level of serum total protein, and electrophoretic analysis of serum protein using polyacrylamide gel technique.
The absolute and relative values of serum protein fractions were calculated in all groups.
The obtained results revealed presence a significant and non-significant variation in values of serum protein constituents (Albumin, Globulin and globulin fractions) in the different groups according to the causative agents.
From the result of this study, it could be concluded that the serum protein electrophoresis is one of the most useful examinations for diagnosis of some diseases in animals.
