في تلك الدراسة تم إستخدام لقاح باستريلا الإلتهاب الرئوي المتعدد العترات و لقاح الحمى القلاعية ثنائي العترة لتحصين مجموعات من العجول حيث تم تقسيم عدد عشرون من تلك العجول إلى أربعة مجموعات متساوية (كل منها خمسة عجول) و قد تم تحصين عجول المجموعة الأولى بلقاح الحمى القلاعية ثنائي العترة فقط بينما حصنت عجول المجموعة الثانية بلقاح باستريلا الإلتهاب الرئوي، و إستخدام كلا اللقاحين بالتزامن معا في تحصين عجول المجموعة الثالثة على حين تم الإحتفاظ بعجول المجموعة الرابعة دون أي تحصين (مجموعة ضابطة).
و قد تم متابعة مستوى المناعة في العجول المحصنة دوريا باستخدام إختبار التعادل المصلي (ضد عدوي الحمى القلاعية) و اختبار التوازن الدموي الفيروسي و الإليزا و إختبار حماية الفئران بالسيرم المناعي (ضد عدوي باستريلا الإلتهاب الرئوي).
و قد تم كذلك تقييم مستوى المناعة الخلوية بإستخدام إختبار تحور الخلايا الليمفاوية.
و قد أظهرت تلك الدراسة أن المناعة الناشئة عن التحصين المتزامن باللقاحين معا تماثل تقريبا الناشئة عن التحصين المتزامن باللقاحين معا تماثل تقريبا الناشئة من التحصين بأي من اللقاحين دون تعارض مناعي بينهما.
Abstract EN
A simultaneous vaccination of polyvalent pneumonic pasteurellosis and bivalent foot and mouth disease vaccine (FMD) was studied in calves.
Twenty calves were divided into four groups, 5 animals each, these groups were vaccinated singly and simultaneously with bivalent FMD vaccine and polyvalent pneumonic pasteurellosis (pneumo-bac) vaccine.
Last five calves were kept as none vaccinated control group.
Serum samples were collected for following up the humeral immunity by serum neutralization test (SNT) for FMD vaccine and IHA, ELISA and passive mouse protection tests for pneumo-bac vaccine, while heparinized blood were taken for evaluation of cellular immunity against FMD vaccine using lymphocyte proliferation test.
Results for FMD and pneumo-bac vaccines indicated that the period of initial and maximal response in both single and simultaneous vaccination were nearly similar without interference to each other.
