يعد التهاب الضرع أحد استبعاد الأمهات ذات القيمة الإقتصادية العالية و قد وجد في هذه الدراسة أن نسبة الإصابة بمرض التهاب الضرع تشكل 6.98 % و كان المسبب الرئيس هو الميكروب المكور العنقودي الذهبي و الذي يكون مستعمرات في أعضاء أخرى غير الضرع متمثلة في الرئتين و الكبد و الكليتين و القلب.
كذلك تم عزل ميكروب الباستيريلا.
و قد وجد أن هناك تغير معنوي في قياسات الدم (زيادة في كرات الدم البيضاء عموما مقترنة بزيادة في الخلايا الليمفاوية و خلايا النيتروفيل) و ذلك مقارنة بالأرانب السليمة.
علاوة على ذلك فقط لوحظ أيضا أن هناك زيادة معنوية في قيم اليوريا و الكرياتينين و أزيمات الكبد و لم يتم التمكن من عزل فيروسات تنتمي إلى عائلة الجدرى (الميكزوما).
و توصى هذه الدراسة بتكرار التحصين ضد ميكروب الباستيريلا و مراعاة الإشتراطات الصحية و لأمن الحيوي داخل المزارع للسيطرة على الميكروب العنقودي الذهبي.
Abstract EN
Mastitis is the main cause for culling adult does from rabbi tries.
In the present work the incidence of mastitis was 6.98 % and the main cause was Staphylococcus aureus.
Staphylococcus aureus can colonize in organs other than mammary gland (lung, liver, kidneys and heart).
Pasteurlla was isolated from one rabbitary.
There were significant changes in the haematological parameter (leukocytosis, associated with lymphocytosis and neutrophilia) in comparison to healthy rabbits.
Moreover, significant elevations in AST, ALT, urea and creatinine values were also recorded.
Trials for viral isolation were negative for detection of myxomaviruses.
Control of mastitis should depend on repeated vaccination for pasteurolosis and strict hygienic measure for control of staphylococcosis.
