تمت دراسة عوامل الضرواة على 54 عترة للاشريشيا القولونية المعزولة من التهاب الضرع الإكلينيكي و التحت إكلينيكي في الجاموس.
لوحظ أن معظم العترات لها خاصية التلزن الدموي عند استخدام كرات الدم الحمراء المجمعة من الأبقار و ارانب غينيا و لها القدرة على مقاومة السيرم و استطاعت النمو في السيرم.
و قد وجد أن عترتين فقط من 54 عترة مجموعتي O86،O 114 كانتا قادرتين على إفراز سموم, في حين كانت 3 عترات تتبع مجموعتي O86,126 كانت قادرة على افراز سم الفيروتوكسين, و عترة واحدة فقط من مجموعة O86 لها القدرة على الاختراق و إحداث التهاب الملتحمة في الأرانب.
و قد تراوحت الجرعة القاتلة ل 50% من حيوانات التجارب بين 190-260 ميكروجرام من LPS المستخلص من المجموعات المختلفة للاشريشيا القولونية و لم توجد فروق واضحة بين المجموعات.
Abstract EN
A total of 54 E.
coli isolates, previously isolated from cases of clinical and subclinical mastitis in buffaloes, were tested for their virulence factors.
The majority of isolates were positive the mannose-sensitive haemagglutination (MSHA) type and were able to survive and grow in serum.
Only 2 out of 54 E.
coli strains, belonging to O114 and O86, were enterotoxigenic, while 3 strains belonging to O126 and O86 were able to produce Vero-toxin and one strain belonging to O86 was invasive and caused keratoconjunctivitis in rabbit model used.
LD50 of different LPS extracted from different E.
coli serogroups varied from 190 to 260 µg.
There were no clear differences among the different E.
coli serogroups.
