في هذه الدراسة تم استخدام عشرة أرانب حوامل في نفس الوقت تم حقن عدد أربعة منهم بفيروس الهر بس -1 للماشية / التهاب القصبة الهوائية المعدي للأبقار بجرعة 1 ملل عن طريق التقطير بالأنف و متابعة التأثير المرضى للفيروس سواء بالعرض المرضى (الحمى-الإجهاض-الإفرازات) و الفحص الميكروسكوبي النسيجي و تم عزل الفيروس و معايرته لتحديد قوته العيارية و من ناحية أخرى تم حقن عدد أربعة أرانب أخرى باللقاح المستضعف بالتقطير بالأنف أيضا 1 ملل و متابعة الأجسام المناعية بالسيرم للأرانب المحقونة حيث وصل إلى 1.5 و هو مستوى مناعة عالي يكفي للحماية من العدوى بالفيروس أثناء انتشار الوباء دون أي تأثير ضار على الحيوان.
Abstract EN
Ten New Zealand pregnant white rabbits were used in this experiment.
The rabbits which were infected with infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR) virus showed the clinical signs of the IBRV (fever, discharge, abortion, histopathology and virus titration of different isolated swabs).
Also, they were vaccinated with freeze dried live attenuated IBR vaccine intranasal at 16-18 days of pregnancy.
The serum of vaccin-ated rabbits gives 1.5 log10 antibody titre which is highly protective.
The results indicate that pregnant rabbits ca be used successfully instead of pregnant cattle to evaluate the immunogenicity of live attenuated IBRV vaccine without any adverse reaction.
