Studies on the toxic effect of different adjuvants and additives in inactivated vaccines

The Present investigation deals with three items: 1-Study the toxic effect of binary ethylene mine (BEI) (as inactivator on LaSota strain of NDV) on vaccinated chickens.

Results show that high concentrations of BEI affect on the Liver, kidney and spleen of vaccinated chickens.

2-Comparise between Paraffin oil and Montanide oil as adjuvant used in preparing NDV vaccine inactivated by 0.001M BEI.

The study reports the usefulness of Montanide oil In the Preparation of NDV vaccine which give a highly Protective level of immunity persisted for time longer than that obtained with paraffin oil.

3- Study the effect of using Bee venom on the immune response of chickens vaccinated with NDV inactivated by 0.001M BEI and adjuvanted by Paraffin oil.

The study reports that using Bee venom in the inactivated NDV vaccine giving the resulted vaccine a highly Protective level of immunity persisted for longer time before that it begin to decline.
