Abstract EN

The current descriptive study aims at identifying possible ways for activating the role of volunteers in the Wafaa centers.

It is to assist the volunteers to achieve their fundamental objectives.

The study relied on the comprehensive social survey method involving all volunteers in the social centers located in the Al Batinah region in Oman.

Although the most important results of the study show an awareness and understanding by the volunteers of the objectives of the centers, yet a few of these goals require focus upon during the training sessions for volunteers.

The results also show the multiplicity and diversity of constraints that limit the effectiveness of the professional performance of the volunteers some of which are linked to aspects of self and artistic, including those associated with the financial aspect of management.

And also revealed the constraints associated with the local community
