Exploring qsar of selective pde4inhibitors as 8-substituted analogues of 3-(3-cyclopentyloxy-4- methoxy-benzyl)‎-8isopropyl adenine

QSAR studies on the analogues of 3-(3-cyclopentyloxy-4-methoxy benzyl)-8-isopropyl adenine showing anti-inflammatory activity were performed.

The PDE4 inhibitory anti-inflammatory activity of these compounds was found to increase with Refractivity & electronegativity.

Excellent results were obtained in multi parametric regression upon introduction of indicator parameters.

We have undergone a cross validation methodology for deciding predictive power of the QSAR models.
