منذ أن استخدمت الولايات المتحدة و حلفائها الأسلحة الإشعاعية الحديثة و المتمثلة بقذائف اليورانيوم المنضب ضد العراق و شعبه خلال احتلال العراق في عام 2003 و نجم عنه مشاكل صحية و بيئية و إنسانية لذلك يجب البحث و التحري عن تلك المواقع الملوثة في جميع أنحاء العراق. إن معدل التعرض للإشعاع الخارجي قيست في 37 موقع شمل جميع أقضية و نواحي محافظة ذي قار التي تعرضت للقصف و باستخدام جهاز inspector Radiatiom ALERT detector made. و قد بينت قراءات أن معدلات التعرض بلغت 80 µR.

h-1 و 85 µR.h-1 في مناطق سومر و الخميسية على التوالي و بذلك قد فاق الحد الحرج و الذي يبلغ 10 µR.h-1 و تأكد تلك القراءة وجود التلوث الإشعاعي في المناطق قيد الدراسة.

و إن مقدار التعرض الخارجي بلغ 80 mSv و 85mSv في كل من الناصرية و الخميسية.

و هنالك مستودع للأسلحة الثقيلة مقصوف بقذائف اليورانيوم المنضب في الخميسية بلغت القراءة فيه 1900 µR.h-1 أي قد فاق الحد المسموح عالميا ب 1900 مرة.

Abstract EN

Since the USA and its allies have been used a new radiological weapons called the Uranium Projectiles against Iraq and its people during the occupation I pin 2003, major environmental and human health problems have resulted the Use of these weapons.

Thus, such problems and their possible sources Bell be investigate all over Iraq.

flxposure rates to external radiation were measured in 37 regions in the study fell by Inspector Radiation ALERT detector.

Dbelaxerage of the exposure reading shows an increase as high as 80 and 85 Bur hurling Sumer region and Al kamessia region respectively, which indicates the, essence of radiological pollution in the study area.

These values are generally above the critical level.

The internal and external doses of the people have been imposed to, are calculated and external exposure are found to be 80 m Sv and M5mSv respectively in Sumer region and Amnesia region.
